Conditions of Use

All customer must agree following conditions and regulations. No exceptions about following regulations:

  • Compras Peru payment Policy.- No goods will be shipped until all payment has been cleared. This applies to all payment methods unless prior arrangements have been made with the Compras Peru Sales Team.

  • ABOUT PRODUCTS - Legal Info.-.- Our company is a formal and legal business in Peru. We have the all licenses of INRENA, DIGESA and ENACO to sell everyone of the products shown on our website www.comprasperu.com. In addition, for restricted products we obtain the legal CITES documentation for ship them without problems.
    Is sole responsibility of customer regarding information about any restrictions, taxes, fees or additional documentation to be submitted to the customs authorities of their country to receive the products ordered.
    Our company will decline any claims by customs restrictions in the target country.
  • Order Processing.- The accepted orders will be ship to the assigned address within the following 48 hours on normal working days, which exclude holidays and weekends.

  • Order Weight.- The maximum weight for each order is 20 Kg including tare (70 g.) Orders over 20 Kg. should be placed simultaneously, in units of less than 20 kg. Or, please contact us to establish an alternative method of shipment.
  • Delivery Time
    When you place an order with Compras Peru, we provide and estimated shipping and delivery time based on the availability of your merchandise and the shipping option you choose. Some restricted products like cactus could delayed more days because these items require aditional papers for shipping. 
  • Carrier.- National and International shipping is using courier express EMS International  from the Peruvian Post (Serpost del Peru). 
  • Delivery Dates.- Liability on delivery dates are the sole responsibility of the courier, Serpost del Peru and your local courier.  Delivery is about nine (9) working days for EMS International Express Courier. For US customers, new security regulation at US customs could to be delayed orders to 15-20 days or more.
  • Proof of Delivery.- Signature is mandatory for parcels using Express Mail Service (Serpost del Peru). The only proof of delivery is from courier. If tracking says that parcel was delivered, for all cases this is the true and unique proof of delivery.
  • Orders Seized at Customs.- All products are packaged with quality standards here at our facility. Your parcel is subject to customs inspections at your port of entry and Compras Peru can not be held responsible for damaged articles or seizures by your country officials We don't refund or resend orders if they are seized at customs of your country.
  • Orders at Customs.- Customs declaration and all the documents related to the shipping are included.  However it is possible that some countries require additional information from the client or tax payments at customs in order to clear the shipment.  In these cases the customer is fully responsible to provide any documentation or payment at customs. We don't refund or resend orders if they are stopped at customs of your country.
    If your order is at customs during several days, you must contact with costumes authorities for clear your parcel. We don't refund or resend orders inboud at customs during several days.
  • Orders Lost.-  We refund or resend all orders lost. Your order is lost if you don't receive it after 90 days. You must file a complaint with us. We'll inquiry to carrier to find your order. If they can't find, we'll receive a certificate of this and we'll resend or refund you. We can't refund you or resend your order before 90 days. That is because customs have several security measures and a lot of parcels are 20 or more at customs and after a time they are delivered. We need the confirmation of courier that your parcel is lost. Is courier says that parcel was delivered we can't accept complaints for this reason.
    For refund we'll use the same payment type than customer used for make hus order. Sometimes, like wire transfers is possible that we can't use the same payment choice. For these cases we'll use payments online like Paypal and others.
  • Shipping Costs.-In all cases, shipping costs are not refundable.
  • Order refused.-If the shipment is refused or ignored by the customer, the courier will make contact again within the next 5 days in order to arrange another delivery date. Failing this, the order will be returned to our shop. Should the client require the order again, the customer should pay for all further costs incurred.
  • Orders rejected at customs.-Customers are responsible to inquire about prohibited products on their countries. If order is rejected on custom because the product ordered has rectrictions, our company not refund order amount and we NOT resend orders.
  • Wrong/Bad Products.-If the product should be delivered to the client with any imperfection or the delivery order does not match the original order. A return form is available for the client to fill in.
  • Products Exchange.-The customer is able to exchange the products for others of the same or higher value from our virtual shop only if the product has not been opened or altered. US$ 25 for operation and costs will be charged. A form for exchanges is available.
    Application forms for exchanging products must be sent within the 48 hours after receipt of the order.
  • Opening orders.-For your security please open the parcel in front of the courier and write down any deficiencies you might find.
  • Order Cancellation Fee
    Customer can cancel his order before courier pick up the parcel from our store. There is a no refundable fee (7.5%) for each cancelled order.
  • Limitation of Liability

    • Compras Peru takes no responsibility for delays, lost, stolen and or damage goods while in transit with couriers. Liability for delivery dates is the sole responsibility of the courier and your local courier.

    • Compras Peru may change without notice courier pricing to come into line with any price increase courier may inform us.

    • Customers are responsible to inquire about prohibited products on their countries. If order is rejected or seized at customs because the product ordered has rectrictions, Compras Peru not refund order amount and don't resend your order.

    • Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

    • Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.

    • These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up. Do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
  • Compras Peru Returns Policy

    • You may return most items sold by Compras Peru Shop within 3 days of delivery for request the product refund refund.

    • If the return is not due to our error and we covered shipping cost, we will deduct the shipping cost from your refund.

    • If a refund is due, it will be done in the same form of payment originally used for purchase and within 7 to 14 business days of our receiving your return.

    • A 30% restocking fee will apply to any goods that have been opened.

    • A flat $25.00 fee will apply for all parcels returned.

    • We cannot accept returns of certain items, including:

      • Any item that is returned more than 10 days after delivery.

      • Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts.
